IRVING, Texas - After completing an impressive comeback over previously undefeated James Madison, Marshall sweeps this week's Conference USA swimming and diving awards. Freshman Sirena Rowe snags C-USA Swimmer of the Week honors after a team-high six first-place finishes over the weekend. Teammate Megan Wolons earns this week's C-USA Diver of the Week award after leading Marshall with a second-place finish in the 1-meter diving program.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Sirena Rowe, Marshall, Fr., Charlotte, North Carolina
Rowe dominated in the JMU Invitational, finishing the weekend with six first-place finishes. Individually, the freshman placed first in the 50 freestyle (24.43), 100 freestyle (51.77), and the 100 backstroke (56.77). On the relay side, Rowe contributed in the 200 medley team that took first place and set a JMU pool record (1:44.39). This is Rowe's first weekly award in her promising young career.

DIVER OF THE WEEK
Megan Wolons, Marshall, Sr., Williamsburg, Virginia
Wolons led Marshall in the diving portion of the JMU Invitational as the senior took second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter programs. Wolons proved clutch in the 1-meter, leaping into second place on her very last dive. The Williamsburg, Virginia, native currently owns the third-best score in the 1-meter among C-USA divers this season. This is Wolons' second weekly award in 2016-17 and the fifth of her career.
