NORFOLK, Va. – (4) Charlotte cruised past (1) FIU in a 3-1 semifinal win to make it to the championship game. FIU got on the board early in the 11^th minute with a goal from senior Paul Marie, assisted by Santiago Patino.

Panthers’ goalkeeper Hugo Fauroux, made some great saves, but it wasn’t enough against the Charlotte offense. The 49ers got on the board in the 23^rd minute from senior forward Marco Sunol-Rojas. Charlotte got the ball rolling in the second half with goals from Joe Brito in the 76^th minute and one last goal with less than 30 seconds left to play from sophomore Noah Seach.
