NORFOLK, Va. – Host (2) Old Dominion shutout (7) South Carolina 2-0 in the last game of quarterfinals. The two teams remained scoreless through the first half and then Old Dominion got their chance after a corner kick.

Tom Wustenberg scored the first and game-winning goal for the Monarchs in the 48^th minute. Then just 15 minutes later teammate Jimmy Filerman scored the second goal for Old Dominion to double the Monarchs' lead.
 
Golden Glove winner, Mertcan Akar, kept a clean sheet and registered his fifth shutout in conference play.
 
Old Dominion will play Marshall in the semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m. EST on CUSA TV.
