NORFOLK, Va. – (6) Marshall stunned (3) Kentucky with a 1-0 victory in the second quarterfinal game. Marshall’s lone goal came in the 33^rd minute from midfielder Dion Stergiotis.

Freshman of the Year Enrique Facusse registered five saves off Marshall’s 16 shots, but it was not enough against the Thundering Herd. Marshall goalie Nate Himes earned a clean sheet with eight saves on Kentucky’s 20 shots.
 
Marshall will face the winner of South Carolina-Old Dominion in the semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m. EST on CUSA TV.
