Justin Johnson comprise the league’s first team unit. Voting on the awards was done by the C-USA head coaches and media members in each conference city.
Overall, 10 different schools placed at least one player among the group of 15 that make up the first, second and third team All-Conference units. The teams are filled with upperclassmen, with one graduate student, six seniors, six juniors, one sophomore and one freshman comprising the squad.
A pair of UTSA rookies are joined by one player each from Louisiana Tech, UAB and WKU on the conference’s All-Freshman team.
The C-USA five member All-Defensive Team consists of stop down standouts from FIU, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion and UAB.
The Conference USA Superlative awards for Freshman of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year will be announced Tuesday. The C-USA Player of the Year and the C-USA Gene Bartow Coach of the Year will be unveiled on Wednesday.
