DALLAS – Conference USA regular-season champion No. 14 Marshall swept the league’s weekly honors after defeating No. 19 FIU. Jamil Roberts received the offensive nod after scoring both goals in the narrow 2-1 victory. Paulo Pita garnered the defensive honor following his stout stand in goal to hold the Panthers to just one score. All weekly awards are presented by Top of the World.
 
C-USA Offensive Player of the Week – Jamil Roberts, Marshall, Jr., Langport, England
Roberts had one of his best games of the season to help the Thundering Herd clinch their first C-USA regular-season title. The junior scored both goals in the 2-1 victory over FIU. He netted his first goal of the night in the 18^th minute to get Marshall on the scoreboard first. After the Panthers scored the equalizer two minutes later, Roberts nailed the game-winner in the 23^rd minute, his sixth goal of the season.
 
C-USA Defensive Player of the Week – Paulo Pita, Marshall, R-Sr., Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil
Pita had another excellent outing in Marshall’s 2-1 win on the road at FIU. The redshirt senior allowed just one goal and recorded six crucial saves to tie his season-high. He made four stops in the first half, including two within a matter of seconds in the seventh minute. Pita posted two more in the second half as the Thundering Herd went on to secure the C-USA regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the C-USA Championship.
