DALLAS - FlU, Florida Atlantic and Marshall have accepted invitations to compete in the 2019 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT).
FIU will face Texas State in the first round on March 23, at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT, in San Marcos, Texas.
The last time the Panthers played in the postseason was on March 17, 1995, when the then Trans America Athletic Conference Tournament Champions faced UCLA in the NCAA Tournament first round in Boise, Idaho, falling to the Bruins, 92-56.
This year, FIU recorded its first winning season (19-13, 10-8, C-USA) since 2012-13 (18-14) and only its second winning campaign since 1999-00 (16-14).
Florida Atlantic's will face Charleston Southern on Thursday, March 21, at the Buccaneer Field House in Charleston, South Carolina. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.
The postseason bid is the just the third in school history. FAU previously appeared in the 2002 NCAA Tournament and 2011 NIT.
FAU is in its first season under May, who was recently named a finalist for the Joe B. Hall Award as the best first year head coach in Division I. The Owls hold a 17-15 record and have clinched their first winning season since 2011.
Marshall will host IUPUI on Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT in the first round of the CIT. The game will be broadcasted on

Marshall comes into the tournament with a 19-14 record after winning six straight games before falling to Southern Miss in the C-USA quarterfinals in Frisco, Texas.
