DALLAS – Florida Atlantic produced the most goals in a single game in three years, due largely to the impressive performance from Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week

C-USA Offensive Player of the Week – Ivan Mykhailenko, Florida Atlantic, Jr., Kyiv, Ukraine
Mykhailenko continues to be a dominant force for the Owls as he racked up five points against (RV) FGCU. The junior contributed on every goal scored in the 3-1 victory. His two goals and one assist accounted for the most points scored by a Florida Atlantic player since 2014. The Kyiv, Ukraine, product’s two goals in the first half helped the Owls build and maintain a lead, even after they went down a player early in the second half. The three goals were the most in a match by Florida Atlantic in three years and Mykhailenko has now scored and assisted on every goal but one this season.
C-USA Defensive Player of the Week – Daniel Gagliardi, FIU, Gr., Plantation, FL
Gagliardi posted two clean sheets and two wins in as many games on the week. In a 2-0 victory over Stetson, the graduate student faced three shots and allowed zero goals in a complete game. On the road at UAB, he played another 90 minutes without giving up a goal, while facing nine shots and making three saves. The match marked the first in which the Blazers were held scoreless this season. The goalkeeper brought his record to 7-0-2 in 2019 and leads C-USA with a .784 save percentage.
