Twenty Former C-USA Players in Arena Football

A total of 20 players from Conference USA schools are continuing their football careers in the Arena Football League. Eight C-USA schools have at least one player listed on the current rosters of the 16-team winter and spring league, which began its season last weekend. Louisville has the most players in Arena Football with seven, followed by Cincinnati with four.

The Chicago Rush and Detroit Fury have the most Conference USA players with three each, with four different AFL squads carrying two former C-USA standouts.

Arena Football is currently in its 17th season. The league is in its first season of a television contract with NBC. At least four games are televised on a regional basis every Sunday, including the playoffs and Arena Bowl XVI.
