During his tenure, he took a struggling program and piloted the school to five league championships, made five trips to the state Division I playoffs over the past six years and twice reached the regional finals. Hinton has a total of 22 years of coaching experience, eight at the college level at Wilmington, Ohio State and Ohio University, and 14 in the high school ranks.

He spent the last two seasons working with the offensive line and tight ends as a graduate assistant at Ohio State, helping direct the team to the 2002 national title. Staten previously served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Miami University. He spent two seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots. Staten launched his coaching career at Crespi Carmlite High in Encino, Calif. after an injury ended his playing career.
Mike Tressel, linebackers and special teams. Tressel, nephew of Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel, brings experience of coaching on both sides of the football. He spent the last two years working with linebackers and defensive backs as part of the Ohio State staff. The Buckeyes won the 2002 national championship and the 2004 Fiesta Bowl during his tenure there. Tressel previously was offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Wartburg College, where his teams compiled a four-year record of 36-4.
