Austin discussed the new rule changes across college football, as well as the continued focus on student-athlete safety and well-being.

Austin is in his 14th season as the C-USA Coordinator of Officials. He spent 26 years as an official in the National Football League (1982-2007) and was on the crew for three Super Bowls, including two as the referee. Prior to officiating in the NFL, the North Carolina native officiated football and basketball for the Atlantic Coast Conference.
