BOCA RATON, Fla. – Fourth-seed Louisiana Tech scored two thrilling goals in the second half within two minutes of each other to continue its run to the C-USA Championship game in a 2-1 victory over No. 5 seed Old Dominion.

Old Dominion got the scoring going early as
Iris Achterhof scored its lone goal in the 43
rd minute, assisted by
Emma Gervase.
The Lady Techsters answered back in the second half with an unassisted goal from
Nomvula Kgoale at the 60-minute mark. Then,
Jenna Dages scored the game-winner in minute 62 to seal Louisiana Tech’s victory in the second game of the tournament.
Louisiana Tech will face Charlotte in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. EST, airing on CUSA TV.
