Kalil ElMedkhar was tabbed Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after tallying seven points this week. Charlotte’s
Elliot Panicco was named Defensive Player of the Week after making nine stops in two shutout wins. All C-USA weekly awards are presented by Top of the World Headwear.

C-USA Offensive Player of the Week – Kalil ElMedkhar, Kentucky, So., Middletown, Delaware
ElMedkhar had a part in all five of Kentucky’s goals this week. In a 3-0 win against ETSU, he assisted both of
JJ Williams’ goals before scoring himself. The sophomore then scored the equalizer and tallied an assist in a 2-1 win at South Carolina. His seven points this week brought him to 11 total, good for fourth in the conference. The two wins helped preserve Kentucky’s perfect conference record.
C-USA Defensive Player of the Week – Elliot Panicco, Charlotte, R-Jr., Huntersville, North Carolina
Panicco anchored a 49ers’ defense that recorded two shutouts. The redshirt junior tallied three saves in a 2-0 win over Wofford. In a 1-0 victory over UAB, Panicco made six stops, with one coming on a penalty kick. For the week, he totaled nine saves and did not allow a goal in 180 minutes. Charlotte now has a home scoreless streak of 440 minutes.
