DALLAS – Southern Miss became the first Conference USA team to begin spring football practice for 2021, as the Golden Eagles took the field for spring drills last week.  Five more teams are opening spring camp this week as Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Rice and UTEP each began spring practices on Monday, while Old Dominion follows with its first spring session on Tuesday.  Spring practices for C-USA teams run through May 1.

C-USA’s 26th football season will begin on Saturday, August 28.  The league’s 17th annual football championship game is scheduled for Saturday, December 4.
