DALLAS - The 2022 Ryan Conference USA Championship Game is set, as North Texas (7-5, 6-2 C-USA) has punched its ticket to take on regular season champion UTSA on Friday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network from the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The Mean Green clinched its spot with a hard-fought 21-17 win over Rice on Saturday afternoon in Denton and look to avenge a 31-27 loss in the final minute earlier this season in San Antonio.

UTSA (10-2, 8-0 C-USA), ranked No. 25 in the USA Today AFCA Coaches Poll coming into the week, knocked off UTEP 34-31 in San Antonio on Saturday afternoon to finish with a perfect regular season record.

This marks UTSA's second trip to the title game in as many seasons after winning the title last year, and North Texas makes its second-ever appearance in the title game, and first since 2017, both under head coach Seth Littrell.
