PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JORDAN WALKER, UAB
JUNIOR, G, 5-11, PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.
Walker set a UAB single-game record with 42 points scored in UAB's 97-75 win over Middle Tennessee, who was the East Division leader, on Saturday. Walker shot a blistering 14-of-23 (.609) from the field and 8-of-16 from behind the 3-point line to break current UAB head coach Andy Kennedy's and Robert Vaden's single-game scoring record of 41 points in a UAB uniform. Additionally, Walker scored 21 of his 26 first-half points in the final 6:44 of the game's opening 20 minutes.
