DALLAS – After winning their respective divisions in the regular season, Charlotte and Louisiana Tech will be the No. 1 seeds at the 2022 Heritage Landscape Supply Group Conference USA Basketball Championships. The 49ers won the East Division with a conference record of 15-3 and an overall mark of 19-9, while the Lady Techsters took the West Division with a 11-7 league ledger and a 19-10 overall mark. As the top seeds, Charlotte and Louisiana Tech will each have a double-byes at the championship.

The other teams receiving double-byes are No. 2 seeds Middle Tennessee and North Texas. The Lady Raiders posted a 14-4 mark in league action. North Texas also secured its highest seed as Conference USA members with a 10-7 mark in conference play.
This year's Championship will begin with a pair of first round games on Tuesday night. No. 6 UTEP and No. 7 UTSA will face off in a West Division clash at 4 p.m. CT on Court A. In the East, No. 6 FIU and No. 7 Florida Atlantic meet at 4:30 p.m. CT on Court B in a Sunshine State showdown.
Wednesday’s four-game, second-round action begins at 11 a.m. CT on Court A when the West’s No. 4 Rice squares off with the East’s No. 5 Marshall.
Next door on Court B, a showdown between East No. 3 Old Dominion and the winner of UTEP and UTSA tips off at 11:30 a.m. CT.
East No. 4 WKU and West No. 5 UAB meet at 1:30 p.m. CT on Court A, and the afternoon will conclude with a matchup between West No. 3 Southern Miss and the winner of FIU and Florida Atlantic at 2 p.m. CT on Court B.
In Thursday's quarterfinal round, East No. 1 Charlotte will take on the winner of the Rice-Marshall game at 11 a.m. CT on Court A, and West No. 2 North Texas will face either East No. 3 Old Dominion or UTEP/UTSA beginning at 11:30 a.m. CT on Court B.
West No. 1 seed Louisiana Tech will battle either WKU or UAB at 1:30 p.m. CT on Court A. East No. 2 Middle Tennessee will close out Thursday night against the winner of the Southern Miss-FIU/Florida Atlantic contest at 2 p.m. CT on Court B.
Coverage of the first and second rounds will be available through ESPN+, along with two quarterfinal matchups on Court B. Stadium will broadcast Court A’s pair of quarterfinal contests. The semifinal games will be shown on Stadium at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. CT. CBS Sports Network will also broadcast the championship game on Saturday, beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT.
