CUSA Women’s Soccer Championship Central
DALLAS – Following the league’s final regular-season games, the field is set for the 2023 Conference USA Soccer Championship, to be held November 1-5, at Robert Mack Caruthers Field in Ruston, La.
Quarterfinal action begins Wednesday, Nov. 1, with No. 4 seed FIU (8-5-4, 3-2-3 CUSA) facing No. 5 seed Sam Houston (5-6-4, 3-3-2 CUSA) at 4:30 p.m. CT. The Panthers claimed a 3-0 road win over the Bearkats back on Sept. 21.
Day one wraps up with No. 3 seed WKU (6-4-7, 4-2-2 CUSA) taking on No. 6 seed LA Tech (5-10-3, 2-4-2 CUSA) at 7 p.m. The Lady Tops defeated the Bulldogs by a 1-0 margin at home on Oct. 12.
Top-seeded NM State (9-5-3, 6-0-2 CUSA) and No. 2 seed Liberty (14-2-1, 5-2-1 CUSA) secured byes to the semifinal round, which is scheduled for Friday, November 3, with a pair of games at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. CT. The CUSA championship game is slated for Sunday, November 6, at 1 p.m. CT.
