2023 Discount Tire College Basketball Invitational Bracket (PDF)
 
PRINCETON, N.J. – A pair of Conference USA squads are among the 16-team field for the 2023 Discount Tire College Basketball Invitational (CBI) as Charlotte earned the No. 3 seed and Rice nabbed the No. 12 seed.
 
The 49ers (18-14) will take on No. 14 seed Western Carolina at 4:30 p.m. CT Saturday, and the Owls (18-15) will face No. 5 seed Duquesne at noon CT Sunday. All CBI games will be played at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.
 
The two institutions will look to follow in the footsteps of Middle Tennessee’s run to the championship final of last year’s CBI. The Blue Raiders fell to UNC Wilmington, 96-90, in a double-overtime thriller.
