HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – No. 2 Liberty (18-15) defeated No. 6 NM State (13-18) 82-70 to punch their ticket to the CUSA Women’s Basketball Championship title game.
 
Four Lady Flames finished in double-figures led by Freshman of the Year Asia Boone. Boone tallied 20 points with 17 coming in the first half while also grabbing four rebounds and dishing four assists. As a team, Liberty shot 50.8 percent from the floor and went 14-of-16 from the charity stripe.
 
The Lady Flames will face off with the defending champions in MTSU on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network for a chance at their first CUSA title.
