HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – For the fourth time in five years, No. 1 MTSU (28-4) advances to the title of the CUSA Women’s Basketball Championship after a 62-56 victory over No. 4 Louisiana Tech (14-19).
 
CUSA Player of the Year Savannah Wheeler paced the offense with a 22-point effort while grabbing five rebounds and dishing out four assists. Anastasiia Boldyreva was a force down low finishing with a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards.
 
The Lady Raiders will face off with the winner of No. 2 Liberty and No. 6 NM State in the CUSA title game on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network.
