DALLAS – Conference USA announced today the launch of CUSA Cares (#CUSACares), the league’s social responsibility initiative focused on making a positive impact beyond sport, while providing an opportunity for CUSA and its teams to build something special within our communities.

CUSA Cares serves as a platform highlighting conference initiatives that prioritize community outreach, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and mental health. It also encompasses a wide range of efforts and partnerships, including the league’s own RDA Foundation, and continued engagement with the College Football Playoff Foundation and Extra Yard for Teachers.
 
“The impact that Conference USA and member institutions have on their campuses and in the community at large is tremendous,” said Chief of Staff/General Counsel Scott Hays. “CUSA Cares gives us a platform to highlight the good that is being done across the conference and help unify the messaging around that positive impact.” 
 
Through CUSA Cares, the conference reaffirms its dedication to cultivating relationships within its member institutions and the broader community of fans and alumni across the country. The league is committed to giving back and moving forward, envisioning the transformative impact that positive actions and progress can have on the people and places that are part of the CUSA community.
 
Conference USA is an NCAA Division I conference championing success in college athletics through dedicated leadership, dynamic partnership, and diverse membership. Founded in 1995 and based in Dallas, CUSA is home to nine schools: FIU, Jacksonville State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, UTEP, and WKU. Kennesaw State joins the league in 2024 and Delaware begins competition in 2025.
