2023-24 CUSA Basketball Championship Bracket (PDF)
DALLAS – After a perfect 16-0 regular season, MTSU will be the No. 1 seed at the 2024 Conference USA Basketball Championships. The Lady Raiders finished the regular season with a 26-4 mark and became the fourth team in CUSA history to run the table.
The event marks the first of a multi-year agreement at VBC Propst Arena in Huntsville, Ala., and features all nine teams and begins with a first-round game at 5:30 p.m. CT Tuesday between No. 8 UTEP (11-18, 6-10 CUSA) and No. 9 Sam Houston (7-21, 2-14 CUSA).
Quarterfinal action will tip off Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. CT as No. 1 MTSU will take on the winner of No. 8 UTEP and No. 9 Sam Houston. No. 2 Liberty (16-15, 11-5) and No. 7 WKU (15-16, 6-10) will follow that contest at 2 p.m. CT to wrap up Wednesday’s action.
The remaining two quarterfinal games will be played on Thursday, March 14 as No. 4 Louisiana Tech (13-18, 7-9) will face No. 5 Jacksonville State (12-16, 7-9) to begin the day at 11:30 a.m. CT. No. 3 FIU (20-10, 11-5) will then match up with No. 6 New Mexico State (12-17, 6-10) in the last quarterfinal contest.
The two semifinal contests are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT and 8 p.m. CT on Friday, March 15 with the championship final to tip off at 4:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 16.
