DALLAS – The 2024 NCAA Bowling Regional Championships wrapped up competition on Saturday. Conference USA showed no mercy in each region as they claimed all four spots in the NCAA Championship Tournament. The all-CUSA Final Four field will consist of Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, Sam Houston and Youngstown State.
 
Arlington Regional
Louisiana Tech began day three of the Arlington Regional with a big win against the fourth overall seed, North Carolina A&T. The Bulldogs were bound for the final after their 2-0 victory. LA Tech advanced to once again face Sam Houston. The Bearkats and Bulldogs split traditional and Baker, forcing Baker best-of-seven match play. Sam Houston completed a 4-0 sweep to secure the regional title and advance to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2018. The Bearkats were semi-finalists in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
 
Lansing Regional
Youngstown State suffered a 2-0 loss to Nebraska to begin the final match. Nebraska was the lone team to earn a spot in every NCAA Championship. The Huskers forced a best-of-seven match that would decide the regional champion. In a tight battle, YSU powered through to win 4-2. The Penguins are now headed to the NCAA Final Four for the second time in program history.
 
Pittsburgh Regional
Top-seeded Jax State faced Duquesne in the title match. The Gamecocks split traditional and Baker, 1-1. In a deciding Baker best-of-seven, Jax State took down the Dukes, 4-1, to claim the final point. In its inaugural season, Jax State is headed to the NCAA Championship tournament in Detroit.
 
Rochester Regional
Vanderbilt began the morning fighting for a spot in the Regional Championship Final. In the elimination match, the Commodores dominated Merrimack in a 2-0 win. The Dores advanced to take on Arkansas State in a rematch of the 2023 NCAA Championship Final. The outcome was not the same as A-State reigned Rochester Regional champions for the second consecutive season, 2-1. The Red Wolves are guaranteed a top four NCAA finish for the sixth time in program history following runner-up finishes in 2008, 2021 and 2023, along with third-place finishes in 2010 and 2012.
 
NCAA Final Four Championship
The championship finals are slated for April 12-13 at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan. Jax State will face Sam Houston, and A-State will be at odds with YSU. The championship final will air at 8 p.m. CT, Saturday, April 13 on ESPNU.
