DALLAS – NM State’s Morane Dossou and MTSU’s Blair Baugus earned Conference USA Women’s Basketball weekly honors. The 2025-26 Players of the Week are voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
 
CUSA Player of the Week – Morane Dossou, NM State – Jr. – F – Charleville-Mézières, France
Dossou put together an astounding performance in a road contest against the WCC's Saint Mary's, finishing with a career-high 15 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 33 minutes of action. She’s one of four athletes in CUSA to tally 17+ rebounds this season. Dossou ranks fifth in CUSA in double-digit rebound games with four and is ninth in the league with 7.8 rebounds per game.
 
CUSA Freshman of the Week – Blair Baugus, MTSU – G – Waynesboro, Tenn.
Baugus continues to rank as the conference’s most complete freshman, contributing at a high level in scoring, rebounding and defensive disruption. Against Auburn, she tallied 11 points, shooting 3-5 from the field, five rebounds and one steal. In MTSU’s 46-45 win over Wichita State, the Waynesboro, Tenn. native, recorded eight points and 12 rebounds, posting her seventh double-digit rebounding game of the season.
