DALLAS – Conference USA has announced that the 2025 CUSA Football Kickoff and Media Day is slated for Tuesday, July 22, at the Home of the PGA of America in Frisco, Texas.
 
"We’re thrilled to return to the Home of PGA of America after the overwhelmingly positive response to last year’s event," said CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod. "The state-of-the-art facilities, professional atmosphere and excellent hospitality made it a perfect setting to showcase our student-athletes and programs, and we look forward to building on that momentum this year."
 
CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod, as well as head coaches and players from each of the 12 CUSA programs will be on hand to discuss and preview the upcoming 2025 football season. This marks the first formal event under the league’s 2025 12-team configuration.
 
The league welcomes Delaware and Missouri State to its membership in 2025. The Blue Hens and Bears join continuing members FIU, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, UTEP and WKU.
 
CUSA is coming off a 2024 season that saw Jax State capture the CUSA crown after defeating WKU, 52-12. Additionally, half of the league’s teams earned a bowl berth in Jax State, Liberty, LA Tech, Sam Houston and WKU. The Bearkats, also in their first year of postseason eligibility, claimed their first FBS bowl victory with a 31-26 win over Georgia Southern.
 
In addition to traditional press conferences and media availability, all participants will take part in a live ESPN+ show, hosted by ESPN’s Mike Corey within PGA Studios, the PGA of America’s state-of-the-art studio.

Among the student-athletes in attendance are First-Team All-CUSA selections Aaron Fenimore (Liberty) and Kam Thomas (UTEP), along with second teamers James Dawn II (Sam Houston), Tyler Martinez (NM State), JeRico Washington Jr. (Kennesaw State) and Brylan Green (Liberty).
