SB: Twenty-Eight CUSA Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

DALLAS – Conference USA placed 28 student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators’ Academic All-District Softball Teams, announced by the organization Tuesday.
 
Jax State and LA Tech led all CUSA institutions with five honorees each, followed by Liberty and UTEP with four selections apiece. Kennesaw State and MTSU each earned three spots on the list, and a pair of student-athletes from NM State and WKU also garnered academic all-district recognition.
 
Among the selections, seven were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
 
The group advancing to the national ballot includes Jax State’s Emma Elrod, Liberty’s Rachel Roupe and Savannah Woodard, LA Tech’s Allie Floyd, NM State’s Kristiana Watson, UTEP’s Ajia Richard and WKU’s Maci Masters.
