DALLAS – The week seven Weekday CUSA contest between WKU and Sam Houston on Wed., Oct. 14, at Elliott T. Bowers Stadium has been upgraded from ESPN2 to ESPN, as announced Saturday by Conference USA and ESPN.
Kickoff for the game will still be 7 p.m. CT with Clay Matvick (PxP) and Rocky Boiman (Analyst) on the call. This marks the second-straight year that a CUSA game has been moved to the flagship channel.
Wednesday marks the fifth meeting all-time between the Hilltoppers and Bearkats. Sam Houston claimed the first showdown, a first-round FCS playoff matchup in 2004, while WKU has won each of the last three meetings since the Bearkats joined CUSA.
The rest of the upcoming Weekday CUSA slate includes Delaware at MTSU at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday on CBS Sports Network, FIU at Jax State at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on ESPNU and Kennesaw State at Missouri State at 6:30 p.m. CT Wednesday on CBS Sports Network.
