DALLAS – FIU’s Parris Atkins and MTSU's Macie Phifer earned Conference USA Women’s Basketball weekly honors. The 2025-26 Players of the Week are voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
 
CUSA Player of the Week – Parris Atkins, FIU – Sr. – G – Little Rock, Ark.
Atkins earns her first CUSA Player of the Week honor after leading the Panthers (17-9, 10-5 CUSA) to a perfect 2-0 week, bringing their total number of conference wins up to 10 on the season. The guard averaged 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. On Thursday against Delaware, Atkins posted a double-double with 17 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. In FIU’s 66-45 win over Liberty on Saturday, she tallied a game-high 25 points shooting 50 percent from the field, while adding five assists and three steals.
 
CUSA Freshman of the Week – Macie Phifer, MTSU – G – New Albany, Miss.
Phifer delivered a career-best performance for the Lady Raiders (14-13, 9-5 CUSA) in a rivalry matchup against WKU on Saturday. The freshman guard posted a career-high 21 points to lead all freshmen in scoring. Phifer also pulled down six rebounds, impacting the game on both ends, along with one assist and one block.
