BOWL: 2026 All-Academic Team Announced

DALLAS – Six athletes have been named to Conference USA’s 2026 All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday. Programs earning recognition include Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, Louisiana Tech, Sacred Heart, Tulane and Wichita State.
 
Kaylee Back, senior on the Red Wolves squad, has maintained a 4.0 GPA while studying accounting. The Derby, Kansas native has averaged 194.8 in traditional games with a high of 279. Of 31 games rolled, she has topped 200 in 13 and finished inside the top 30 in three events. 
 
Jax State’s Emma Yoder is an integrated studies major. The sophomore has a 4.0 GPA and is a three-time President’s List honoree. The Wooster, Ohio native currently leads the nation in Baker scoring (226.06), is No. 2 in overall strike percentage (59.1%) and No. 3 in overall scoring average (220.47). She was a member of the CUSA November Performers of the Month Team and was named to the all-tournament team at the YSU Penguin Classic. 
 
Senior, Jenna Stretch, from LA Tech holds a 3.939 GPA while studying English with an art history minor. Stretch, out of Auburn Township, Ohio, has collected many academic accolades including her six-time Dean’s List recognition and four-time President’s list recognition. She has also been a three-time CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient, a two-time CUSA Academic Medalist, a two-time NTCA All-Academic recipient and a CSC Academic All-District honoree. In competition, Stretch has guided the Bulldogs to a 62-29 record with 32 of those wins coming against ranked opponents. She has registered three top-10 finishes with five top-25 finishes this season, holding a 20.81 average per frame and was named to the CUSA January Performers of the Month Team.
 
Representing Sacred Heart is senior Megan Prettyman out of Deptford, New Jersey. Prettyman holds a 4.0 GPA studying Biology. She is a Dean’s List honoree and was one of six students from the East Coast selected for the NSF International Research Experience. She is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Prettyman was named to the Saints Invitational All-Tournament Team, was the New England Cup Singles champion, has finished top-10 in three NTCA statistical categories and has a 203.4 average.
 
Graduate student, Sarah Rubi, out of Tulane is getting her Master of Science in computer science where she has a 3.890 GPA. Prior to Tulane, the Metairie, Louisiana native graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lincoln Memorial. She was named to the Dean's List every semester as an undergrad and earned NTCA All-Academic honors. She was also a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma. Rubi has a 189.2 frame average for the 2025-2026 season and is a strong leadoff bowler for the team. She helped her previous university, LMU, to two Conference Carolinas championships with top-20 national rankings in 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. 
 
Wichita State’s Aleesha Oden boasts a 3.91 GPA while studying applied engineering. The senior from Council Bluffs, Iowa, is a five-time Dean’s List honoree. She ranks third nationally in PCPI and fifth in individual scoring average. Oden was named to the all-tournament team at Destination Orlando where she finished third with a recorded 230.8 average, the seventh highest in program history. She was also named to the all-tournament team at the Colonial Lanes Classic where she finished fourth. She hit a season-high 258 in this season's first traditional game at Destination Orlando and posted 258 at the Saints Invite. At the Northeast Classic, she capped off a perfect Baker 300.
