DALLAS  - Missouri State climbed to the top of the standings after a perfect 3-0 week, highlighted by a 3-1 victory over Big Ten opponent Iowa. FIU also remained unbeaten, going 4-0 on the week and earning a clean sweep over (RV) Florida State.

ALL HAIL QUEEN SESAR 
Freshman outside hitter, Lana Sesar was sensational for the Panthers as she helped FIU to a perfect 4-0 week. She tallied recorded 59 kills (4.21/set) and hit .261 on the week. After going 3-0 at the Florida A&M Invitational, Sesar led the team in kills (10) to take down (RV) Florida State on the road. The win marks FIU’s first-ever win at Tully Gym in program history, their first win over Florida State during their DI history, and the second-straight season the Panthers took down an ACC opponent, beating Duke in 2025.

ALL GAS, NO BRAKES   
The Lady Flames secured a 3-1 week and has an overall record of 6-4 going into week four. Liberty opened the week with a clean sweep of Radford on Tuesday. Despite falling to Army on Friday, Liberty earned the reverse sweep of host Hofstra. CUSA Offensive Player of the Week, Jenna Otts came up huge in the win taking over in set five. After trailing 4-3, Otts scored five kills during a 10-0 Lady Flames rally. She sent down Liberty’s final two kills of the match, giving her seven fifth-set kills and the Lady Flames the 15-6 win. Liberty followed that up with a 3-1 win over Fairfield on Saturday. 

RAIDING THE PARTY 
MTSU currently sits in second place in the CUSA standings with an overall record of 6-3. MTSU posted a 2-1 record at the Blue Raider Bash. After falling to Georgia State, the Blue Raiders came back to win two in a row over Northern Colorado and Murray State. Marianne Garcia continues to be a force in the backrow, picking up 58 digs and a .949 reception rate on the week. She had 15 plus digs in each of the three contest with 22 digs in MTSU’s 3-1 win over Murray State. 

GARDNER’S FLOWERS ARE BLOOMING 
Missouri State is on a six game winning streak after going 3-0 at the Hawkeye Invitational. The Bears defeated UIW, Southern Illinous, and Big Ten foe Iowa. Hannah Gardner has been unstoppable for Mo State as the sophomore recorded a triple-double on the week, earning the Hawkeye Invitational MVP and CUSA Setter of the Week honors. Gardner hit .370 with 15 kills, 17 assists and 14 digs Saturday at Iowa, marking her second match this season with 14 plus in each category, which had not been done at Missouri State since 1989.

P4 FOES  
After coming off a 2-1 weekend at the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic, WKU has an exciting week ahead as the Hilltoppers welcome No. 3 Louisville and SEC opponent Oklahoma into E.A. Diddle Arena. Faith Young had herself a weekend, compiling 39 kills, five aces, five blocks, four digs, and a .507 hitting clip. Tayler Baron earned CUSA Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting 62 digs, a .941 reception average, an average of 4.77 digs per set and four aces.
