C-USA IN THE PAPAJOHNS.COM BOWL
2006 USF 24, East Carolina 7

Conference USA is in an agreement with the Papajohns.com Bowl to provide a team for its annual game through the 2009 contest. The C-USA representative will play an opponent from the Big East Conference at historic Legion Field, the home of UAB football. The inaugural Papajohns.com Bowl was played last December 23 as former C-USA member USF defeated East Carolina, 24-7.

ESPN Regional Television (ERT), a subsidiary of ESPN, Inc., owns and operates the Papajohns.com Bowl and will be responsible for the bowl's organization, operation, sponsorship, marketing efforts and more. UAB provides marketing, management and game day operations support for the Papajohns.com Bowl.
