Conference USA has established a social action committee to advocate and promote change for a more equitable and inclusive future for our country through the platform of sport. The conference will work to advance this social movement through four pillars - Awareness, Community, Education and Systemic Change. Through the Community cornerstone, CUSA is participating in activities, initiatives and partnering with organizations that support our causes and promote mental wellness.
The Right to Vote
One of the most important rights of American citizens is the right to vote. Citizens over the age of 18 cannot be denied the right to vote, regardless of race, religion, sex, disability, or sexual orientation. In every state except North Dakota, citizens must register to vote, and laws regarding the registration process vary by state. Conference USA has is working with vote.org to provide information regarding voting in our communities for the upcoming election. Vote.org uses technology to simplify political engagement, increase voter turnout, and strengthen American democracy. It is the largest 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan voting registration and get out the vote (GOTV) technology platform in America.
