Conference USA is a proud partner of the College Football Playoff Foundation for the Extra Yard for Teachers initiative.The CFP Foundation’s primary platform, Extra Yard for Teachers, elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers. The CFP Foundation coordinates Extra Yard for Teachers Week, a celebration of educators across the country slated for September each year. The Big Day for Teachers is a designated day of celebration during that week where the CFP Foundation is joined by its partners to make the day extra special for educators across the country. In conjunction with Conference USA's league-wide focus on student-athlete mental health, CUSA is using this year's CFP Foundation grant to positively impact the mental health of students and teachers in communities across our league footprint by providing mental health resources and creating dedicated mental health spaces in 10 special schools.
