Drew Maulsby joined Conference USA in April of 2024 as Associate Commissioner and Chief Revenue Officer. Maulsby’s responsibilities include oversight of Conference USA’s regional and national corporate partnerships, providing a strategic vision for maximizing exposure and revenue, and growing the CUSA brand in the DFW area and the communities of its member institutions. He also has oversight of baseball for the conference.

With a diverse background spanning various levels of sports, including Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, and collegiate athletics, Maulsby brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his position.

Prior to joining CUSA, Maulsby served as the Director of Development & Ticket Sales with Learfield Amplify and Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. During his time at SFA, Maulsby and his team set revenue records for the Purple Lights Fund, and in total ticket sales.

Before joining Learfield and SFA, Maulsby also held a leadership position in ticket sales with The Aspire Group and the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA. Maulsby's efforts in adding ticketed sports at Northern Iowa significantly boosted revenue for the institution.

Maulsby's professional journey commenced in baseball, where he spent the initial five years of his career. As he neared completion of his undergraduate degree, Maulsby interned with the Houston Astros in their sponsorship department in 2012. Subsequently, he served as an Account Executive with the Round Rock Express for two seasons before transitioning to a Sales Manager role with the Sugar Land Skeeters from 2015 to 2017 under the leadership of former Express President Jay Miller.

A 2013 graduate of Sam Houston State University, Maulsby was a student manager for the Bearkats baseball team for three seasons. The Tomball, TX native resides in Plano, TX along with his wife, Jessica, their daughter, Hadley, their son, Beckett, and their miniature golden-doodle, Tex.
