King joined Conference USA in December 2024 as Assistant Commissioner of Video Services and Production. He provides creative leadership for Conference USA's video and broadcast initiatives by shaping the Conference's visual brand, developing strategic video content and serving as the primary liaison to member institutions' broadcast and video production staffs.
King previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Miner Vision at UTEP since February 2023. During his time in the Sun City, King oversaw the development of all broadcast content for UTEP Athletics, including all ESPN broadcasts and studio productions.
King arrived in El Paso following four-plus years as Roadrunners Sports Video Producer at UTSA, where he produced all broadcast content for CUSA.tv, ESPN+ and ESPN3. In this capacity, he managed the hiring of announcers and freelance workers for all in-house ESPN productions. He also managed the development of the broadcast studio and production upgrades at various sports venues on campus. King pursued and executed collaborative opportunities between UTSA Athletics, campus and outside vendors.
Prior to his stint at UTSA, served as a Production and Media Manager for Niles Media Group from 2011-18. He coordinated with clients on all production elements, graphics and commercial inventory for live and taped productions. He also provided game-day support for live production mobile units at various sporting events.
King earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Pittsburg State University in 2011. He worked as a camera operator and producer for all sporting events during his time at Pittsburg State.
