Jessica Radford rejoined the league as Associate Director of Strategic Communications in July of 2024, returning to the conference where she previously served as a Communications Assistant during the 2022-2023 academic year. As part of her duties Radford oversees the communications efforts of volleyball, women’s basketball, women’s golf and beach volleyball.

Radford was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 30 Under 30 Class of 2024, which is one of the most meaningful honors for young communications and creative professionals in college sports.

Radford spent the 2023-2024 academic year at the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) as the Assistant Director of Communications working with women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, women’s golf and softball. During her time as the communications assistant at CUSA, Radford worked directly with volleyball, cross country, track & field and women’s tennis.

Prior to CUSA, Radford was a media relations assistant in athletics at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, during the 2021-22 academic year. While at Pacific, Radford worked with men’s and women’s water polo, golf and women’s tennis, serving as a statistician for volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball games. Radford was also a student-athlete mentor and interned in the athletics box office at Pacific.

Radford competed as a four-year volleyball student-athlete at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia, playing middle blocker and right-side hitter for the Spartans. Radford was a seven-time AD’s Honor Roll selection and a three-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) All-Academic Team choice. Radford was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society at Norfolk State.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Radford graduated from Norfolk State with a bachelor's degree in mass communications with a focus in general broadcasting in May of 2020. Radford earned a master’s degree in communications with a focus in media and public relations from Pacific in May of 2022.
