Beth Keylon-Randolph Not Returning to East Carolina

April 24, 2015

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Head softball coach Beth Keylon-Randolph will not be returning to East Carolina University, effective immediately, according to an announcement by director of athletics Jeff Compher Friday afternoon.

Keylon-Randolph had been on administrative leave since January 15 due to personal reasons.

Prior to her departure, Keylon-Randolph compiled a 49-51 overall record in two seasons after accepting the position in October, 2012. Interim head coach Steve Jaecks has led ECU to a current mark of 14-35 (5-10 American Athletic Conference) this spring.

Jaecks, along with interim assistant coach Keli Harrell and graduate assistant coach Alex Fieldhouse, will continue to guide the Pirates through the remainder of the 2015 season, at which point Compher will conduct a national search for a replacement.
