Abraham threw for over 400 yards for the third time in his career, and the second time this season, as he completed 29-of-36 passes for 421 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in a 45-27 victory over North Texas.  He also added a rushing score while helping the Golden Eagles generate 563 yards of total offense.  Abraham’s pass plays included completions of 72, 59 and 59 yards and at one point, he completed six consecutive passes for double-digit yards.  The Oxford, Mississippi, native recorded eight-straight completions to start the game and had strings of seven catches two more times during the affair.  The 421 passing yards is the sixth-highest total in school history and the seventh time the Golden Eagles have had a QB throw for over 400 yards in a contest.  Abraham has thrown for 1,936 yards this season and has completed 71.7 percent of his passes (eighth in the FBS).  This is Abraham’s second Offensive Player of the Week honor in three weeks.

Hodge tied a school record with 4.5 sacks to go with his seven tackles in Marshall's 31-17 home win over Old Dominion.  The 26 yards lost on those sacks tied for third-most in school history. The Thundering Herd racked up a season-high eight sacks as a team, tied for the second-most in school annals.  Hodge’s 4.5 sacks tied a school record set by Cecil Fletcher on Sept. 13, 1986 at Ohio.  The Wake Forest, North Carolina, native also tied two others for the third-most sacks in Conference USA history, equaling the 4.5 sacks by Louisiana Tech’s Houston Bates against Illinois in 2014, and FAU’s Martin Wright against FIU in 2013.. Hodge’s sack total is also the most by a Marshall player in Joan C. Edwards Stadium history.

Vogel was a perfect 4-of-4 on field goal attempts at UTSA in a 33-14 victory.  His four made field goals established a new career high as the senior from Jacksonville, Florida, connected from 43, 31, 31, and 23 yards.  Vogel has made each of his last six field goal attempts and is 8-of-11 on the year.  He also sent four of his eight kickoffs into the end zone for touchbacks against the Roadrunners and made three extra-points to finish with a 15-point evening.
