DALLAS – The 2023 Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship begins Thursday, April 27, with six teams squaring off in a double-elimination bracket. The three-day event, hosted by Conference USA and Visit Lauderdale, opens with four matches on Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. ET at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. This is the league’s second season of beach volleyball with FIU, Florida Atlantic, UAB and first-year members Jacksonville State, Tulane and UTEP. FIU, ranked No. 12 in the latest AVCA Poll, earned the No. 1 seed and first round bye, while No. 15 Florida Atlantic also has a first-round bye as the No. 2 seed. Tulane, ranked No. 17, holds the third seed.
The conference championship match is slated for 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 29.
