DALLAS – UAB’s Jasmine Haas and Olivia Stant were named the Conference USA Beach Volleyball October Pair of the Month, the league announced Wednesday.

Olivia Stant, UAB, Sr., New Orleans, La.
 
Haas and Stant went a perfect 5-0 at the AVCA Bids Qualifying Tournament on Oct. 25-26 in Huntsville, Ala. to punch their ticket into the AVCA Pairs National Championship Tournament. The duo defeated Stephen F. Austin (21-6, 21-6), UAB (21-19, 21-17), Southern Miss (21-19, 18-21, 15-11), North Alabama (21-18, 16-21, 15-8) and Tulane (21-16, 21-17) on their way to winning the tournament.
