CUSA Announces Engine as Official Travel Partner

DALLAS – Conference USA announced Engine, a modern business and group travel platform trusted by over one million travelers, will become the league’s Official Travel Partner.

Through this partnership, CUSA will use Engine’s all-in-one travel platform to simplify and enhance group travel management. CUSA league staff, event operators and organizers, and teams from CUSA’s 12 member schools can take advantage of Engine’s flexible booking policies, hotel savings rates, dedicated traveler support, and consolidated invoices. CUSA will now leverage Engine as their exclusive travel platform for all events, from conference championships, to regular season games, to corporate offsites.

The partnership is designed to save CUSA time and resources through:
  1. Streamlined administrative support: Engine offers a more efficient booking and budgeting experience for CUSA staff, consolidating invoices and billing into a single statement, and allowing for greater oversight into conference travel spend
  2. Specialized support for large groups: Engine takes the stress out of group travel for CUSA staff and member school athletic departments by coordinating room blocks for teams traveling out of market for regular season games and championships
  3. A national footprint: with 12 schools spread across different regions, CUSA will leverage Engine handle travel bookings across the country
  4. Booking flexibility: Engine can accommodate last-minute booking changes without penalties
“We’re excited to welcome Engine as Conference USA’s Official Travel Partner,” said CUSA Chief Revenue Officer Drew Maulsby. “Engine’s innovative platform and commitment to service will provide our league and member institutions with a more efficient, flexible and streamlined travel experience.”

“From a single tournament to a full season on the road, Engine handles the logistics so coaches can coach, athletes can compete, and everyone can focus on the game,” said Alex Melamud, Chief Financial Officer at Engine. “We’re proud to provide the technology that keeps CUSA moving and gives teams the flexibility they need.”
