FLAMES STAY HOT
The Lady Flames picked up their eighth straight win with a shutout road victory at NM State, 3-0. With the wins over MTSU and NM State last week, Liberty carries an 18-game unbeaten streak against CUSA opponents. Its last regular season defeat was against FIU on Sept. 27, 2024. The squad is unbeaten on the road (9-0-3) in CUSA play since joining the league in 2023.
WKU’S PITCHING SHUTOUTS
After dropping its first match of the season to open league action, WKU bounced back with two wins on home turf against Sam Houston and Missouri State. Hilltopper goaltending led by Mia Riddick has been sensational in 2026. She notched two more shutouts last week, bringing her total to eight on the year. She currently leads the nation in goals against average (.191). WKU will hit the road to take on unbeaten Delaware on Sunday at Noon CT.
BLUE HENS BOOMIN’
The Delaware offense went off over the last week of play as they open CUSA play 3-0 and sit atop the league standings with Liberty. Taisiya Reid had the lone goal in their win over FIU on Thursday night in Miami. She followed that performance with two more second half scores in Delaware’s monster win at Kennesaw State on Sunday, 5-1. The Blue Hens are set to host red-hot WKU on Sunday in Newark.
MTSU’S EFFICIENCY
The Blue Raiders find themselves right at .500 after two weekends of conference action. Ania Denham has been a key contributor to the MTSU success thus far in 2026. MTSU leads CUSA and ranks sixth nationally in shot accuracy at a .558 clip.
