MBB: Four CUSA Players Named to NABC All-District Teams

DALLAS – Four CUSA student-athletes were named to NABC All-District Teams. Liberty’s Zach Cleveland earned East District First Team honors, while teammate Brett Decker Jr. garnered Second Team honors. WKU’s Teagan Moore was named to the Central District Second Team, along with Sam Houston’s Po’Boigh King who earned Gulf District Second Team recognition.
 
Cleveland, the CUSA Player of the Year, stuffed the stat sheet all year long as he averaged 12.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game, all while shooting 62.7 percent from the field during CUSA play. The Bloomington, Ill., native, notched his first career triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in a home win over Missouri State. He became the 23rd player in CUSA history and first since Rice’s Max Fiedler in 2023. Cleveland now ranks in the top five in school history in career assists and top 10 in rebounds.
 
Decker Jr. was named to the second team of the East District after leading the league all year in three-point shooting and ranking second nationally in three-point percentage (48.1). The sophomore guard also was eighth in the country in three-pointers per game (3.47) and 11th in total three-pointers made (111). He drained a career-high eight triples on March 5 versus Louisiana Tech and had 10 games with five or more threes.
 
Moore, an All-CUSA First Team member, averaged 18.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 52.9 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from three-point range and 80.0 percent at the charity stripe. He ranked second in CUSA in scoring and third in field goal percentage, scoring in double figures in 23 of 27 games, including 13 performances of 20 or more.
 
King earned Gulf District Second Team recognition after leading the offensive charge for the Bearkats in the 2025-26 campaign. The senior guard led the team in scoring at 16.9 points per game during conference play which ranked seventh in CUSA. King was also a top shooter during league action with a 44.0 percent clip from field, a 39.1 three-point percentage and a 84.9 free throw percentage.
