DALLAS – Florida Atlantic’s Olivia Strandberg and Ava Koehl were named the Conference USA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Strandberg and Koehl had a career weekend during the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational. The pair finished the weekend 3-1, earning career-best wins over No. 7 Florida State, No. 6 TCU and Tampa. Strandberg and Koehl opened the weekend with a straight-set win at the 2s against No. 7 Florida State, 22-20, 21-18. The duo then closed out Saturday play with the best win of their careers, sweeping reigning national champion and No. 6-ranked TCU’s 2s pair, 21-19, 21-16. On Sunday, the pair fell in two against No. 3 USC, before earning their third straight-set win of the weekend vs. Tampa, 21-18, 21-19.
