DALLAS – UAB’s Olivia Chychrun and Ava Grace Knott were named the Conference USA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Chychrun and Knott turned in a perfect weekend at the Stampede Beach Opener, hosted by South Florida. The UAB duo went 4-0 on Court 3, winning all eight sets across four matches. Their performance included a straight-set victory over host South Florida, which entered the weekend on an 11-match winning streak. With the sweep, the pair improved to a team-best 20-5 on the season, including three wins over ranked opponents. Chychrun recorded her 20th career victory on Court 3, setting a UAB record for wins on that court, while Knott’s 20th win tied the program’s freshman single-season record.
