What path did you take after college?
Following my time at WKU, I have been focusing on preparing for medical school. I’ve spent time studying for the MCAT and learning from doctors through shadowing, including Dr. Craig Koniver. These experiences have given me valuable insight and helped me continue growing as a person in this next chapter of my life.

What do you enjoy most about your current role or profession?
What I enjoy most about my current role is gaining a new perspective on life and taking the time to learn more about myself. I value the challenge of preparing for the MCAT and the discipline it requires, as well as the meaningful relationships I’ve been able to build during this season of life.

What’s your favorite memory from college athletics?
My favorite memory from college athletics is the friendships I formed that will last a lifetime. The shared experiences and challenges extended far beyond athletics. Teammates became family—people I could lean on during both the highs and lows. These relationships are memories I will always cherish and carry with me long after college.

Any new hobbies since college?
I love traveling and exploring new places, taking long walks with my dog, George, and spending quality time with my brothers and close friends.

What advice would you share with current student-athletes?
Take time to enjoy and reflect on your journey as you progress through your career. Embrace every challenge, understanding that even the most difficult moments are experiences you will one day look back on with gratitude for the lessons they taught you. Know your goals, stay committed to them, and pursue them relentlessly. Every experience—whether a game, a workout, or even a test—is an opportunity to learn and grow as a person.

How have your career goals evolved from college to now?
College helped me develop a deeper sense of self and a clearer understanding of who I want to become. Through this experience, I realized that my ultimate desire is to give back and serve others. My ultimate goal is to establish a foundation for underprivileged youth, allowing me to give back to the community and invest in the next generation through education, experience, and sports.

What impact did being a college athlete have on your life?
As a college athlete you learn countless lessons—many of which only become clear through reflection. One of the most important lessons was the power of relationships, whether with coaches, mentors, or teammates. As I progressed in my career, I came to understand how essential these relationships are for success. College athletics also taught me the importance of being fully present while balancing the demands of academics and sports. I learned to focus on practice when I am at practice and dedicate myself fully to school when it is time for academics— this is a mindset that continues to guide me in all aspects of my life today.
