BVB: 2026 All-Academic Team Announced

DALLAS - Conference USA tabbed 10 student-athletes to its 2026 CUSA Beach Volleyball All-Academic Team on Friday. Six schools are represented with UAB leading the way with three selections. Florida Atlantic and UTEP have two representatives a piece, while FIU, Missouri State and Tulane are highlighted as well.

UTEP's Madison Hill earned her fourth consecutive all-academic honor as the graduate student Mechanical Engineering major from El Paso, Texas, boasts a 4.00 GPA. UAB’s Olivia Chychrun was selected to the All-Academic Team for the third consecutive year as the senior holds a 3.97 GPA in Economics. Two individuals picked up their second straight all-academic recognition in Missouri State’s Amanda Cleary and UAB’s Olivia Stant. Cleary holds a 3.88 GPA as a senior majoring in nursing, while Stant is majoring in Kinesiology with a 3.94 GPA.

Six selections earned all-academic honors for the first time this year in FIU’s Brianna Luoma (3.87, Psychology), Florida Atlantic’s Olivia Strandberg (3.90, Computer Science) and Klaire VanDeusen (4.00, MS Social Work), Tulane’s Emma Morris (3.92, MBA), UAB’s Jasmine Haas (3.29, Nursing) and UTEP’s Paulina Acuna (3.91, Multidisciplinary Studies).  

The 2026 CUSA Beach Volleyball Championship will be held April 23-25 in Youngsville, La.
