MTEN: MTSU Earns Bid to 2026 NCAA Championship

DALLAS – MTSU will represent Conference USA at the 2026 NCAA Men’s Tennis Team Championships, the NCAA announced Monday. Dates and times for the matches have not yet been determined and will be released at a later date.
 
The 48th-ranked Blue Raiders are headed to Athens, Ga., to face NC State (16-7). MTSU (22-8) clinched an automatic berth after claiming its seventh consecutive CUSA championship. It marks the 18th appearance for Middle Tennessee and eighth appearance at the NCAA Tournament for Jimmy Borendame as head coach.
 
The first and second rounds of the championship will be held May 1-2. The winner of each site will advance to super-regional competition on May 8 or 9. The super-regional winners will head to Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., where eight teams will compete for the national title on May 14-17.
