DALLAS – MTSU’s Sophia Henry, Liberty’s Alison Bierwagen, Sam Houston’s Brenlin Garlitz and Lauren Pyle and Missouri State’s Halle Rillie earned the Conference USA Volleyball Player of the Week honors.

CUSA Offensive Player of the Week – Sophia Henry, MTSU – Jr. – OH – Atlanta, Ga.
Henry had an outstanding weekend for Middle Tennessee, leading the team with 49 kills. She recorded her third career double-double in a 15-kill, 10-dig day versus CCSU on Friday. She followed that performance up with a career-high 23 kills against Brown on Saturday. Henry was a force all weekend as the Blue Raiders swept their matches at the Fairfield Invitational.
 
CUSA Defensive Player of the Week – Alison Bierwagen, Liberty – So. – S – DeLand, Fla.
Bierwagen played elite defense as a 6-2 system setter, helping Liberty to a pair of sweeps over a North Alabama team which came into the weekend with a 10-1 record. Despite only playing approximately half of the rotations, she averaged 5.0 digs per set while adding 0.33 aces and 6.33 assists per set. On Thursday, Bierwagen collected 11 digs and added 21 assists and one ace, as Liberty held UNA to a .126 hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep. She then collected a match-high and career-high 19 digs in a 3-0 sweep of North Alabama on Friday, as the Lions hit just .082. Bierwagen totaled 15 digs between the first two sets combined. Her 19 digs were the most digs by a Liberty setter since Amaya Williams collected 23 digs on Nov. 7, 2021.
 
CUSA Co-Setter of the Week – Brenlin Garlitz, Sam Houston – Fr. – Waxahachie, Texas
Garlitz led the Kats to three straight wins at the Lamar Invitational over the weekend. The freshman dished out 66 assists on the weekend, averaging a team-high 6.0 per set. She opened the weekend with 24 dimes in the win over ULM before going for 22 in taking down North Dakota. On Saturday, she finished with 20 assists in the Kats' sweep of Lamar.
 
CUSA Co-Setter of the Week – Lauren Pyle, Sam Houston – Jr. – Longview, Texas
Pyle help direct the Bearkats to a .272 team hitting percentage while running a 6-2 system with Brenlin Garlitz. She was instrumental in the Bearkats 3-0 weekend at the Lamar Invitational recording 55 assists. In a 3-1 win over Lamar on Saturday, the junior posted a double-double with 16 assists and 12 digs. She had 23 assists versus ULM on Friday and followed that up with 16 assists against North Dakota.  
 
CUSA Freshman of the Week –Halle Rille, Mo State – S – Santa Barbara, Calif.
Rillie averaged 5.33 assists and 2.00 digs per set in a 2-1 weekend for the Bears at the Missouri Challenge. She recorded a double-double in a sweep of Kansas City on Thursday with 21 assists and 10 digs. Against SEMO on Friday, the Santa Barbara, Calif., native finished with 19 assists and nine digs. Rillie posted 24 assists and five digs on Saturday versus Saint Louis. The freshman helped set the Mo State offense to a .258 hitting clip in three matches.
